Meditation Mala necklaces

Our meditation malas are made of gemstones, magnesite, lava, or rudraksha, which can enhance meditation practice, promote personal development, and are traditionally made of 108 beads. The number 108 is considered sacred with each bead representing a mantra. Wearing a mala in close contact with the skin allows energy to flow freely, while meditating with a mala combines Naad yoga, acupressure, gemstone therapy, and deep meditative practice. Each finger has different meridian points that relate to different parts of the brain, and using a mala can stimulate them. Ultimately, a mala helps quiet the mind and let the higher self lead you on your path, promoting happiness and fulfillment.

The Proper Use of a Mala
A Mala is a spiritual object that is typically worn close to or directly on the skin. This is because there is no obstruction to the absorption barrier, allowing for free and unimpeded energy flow. Malas and bracelets are often used for this reason. However, you can also use stones and beads to help with emotional clearing or to maintain energetic balance in a room.

Using a mala during meditation is an excellent way to enhance your practice. It helps to focus your meditation while also incorporating the unique gemstone properties of the mala to improve the power of your practice.

Meditating with a mala combines Naad yoga, acupressure, gemstone therapy, and deep meditation. Each finger contains different meridian points that correspond to different areas of the brain. These points are located on the sides of each finger between the fingertip and the knuckle. By running the mala over a meridian point, the point is stimulated, creating an effect on your brain chemistry.

The meridian point properties for each finger are as follows:

  • Index Finger (Jupiter Finger): Wisdom, Knowledge, Prosperity
  • Middle Finger (Saturn Finger): Patience
  • Ring Finger (Sun Finger): Health, Vitality, Strengthening the Nervous System
  • Little Finger (Mercury Finger): Communication, Intelligence

A mala can be used with either hand. To begin, start with the bead next to the Guru bead. Repeat the mantra and move each bead towards your body over the meridian point on your finger. Once you reach the Guru bead, recite the mantra and say a prayer. To begin again, turn the mala around without using your other hand. Move the beads towards you and continue your meditation.
